Review of the Conservation Status of 10 Plant Species in NSW

Research the post-wildfire status of selected common, threatened and potentially threatened plant species in the southern Sydney Basin and eastern South East Highlands Bioregions. Work was done with a mix of Commonwealth and State Government funding, and involved checking database records for errors, and visiting numerous locations to document plant species after fire, with some unburnt sites also used for comparison. The research included recommendations to list some species as threatened as a result of populations declines after fire, sometimes combined with other threats such as weed invasion. Aspects of this project have been published by the government staff who managed the work.
